I love this! Especially your focus on sharing stories about:
"The ones who took a traditional or safe route and then somehow found their way to doing the thing they’d wanted to do since as long they could remember. Or maybe it was a career or hobby they didn’t even know they wanted."
This speaks to all of us, shows us how to go for it. xo
That moment they decided to go for it and make a change - thinking about that gives me butterflies or anxiety, not sure which, haha. Either way, it inspires me:)
You are one of my favorite internet friends, always encouraging:) I imagine you know a few women that made that midlife transition into something unexpected and amazing!
These are the stories I love to read! We as women are capable of so much, especially in our second half of life when we have more time and energy to pursue passions and learn more about ourselves, and these stories should be shared. Hearing others stories inspires me to push forward and keep learning and growing. Thank you 🙂
Thanks Sunny:) I keep thinking "if you can see it you can dream it" - it's so fun to see what's out there, opportunities we might never have considered.
I love this! It's crazy how our interests and motivation change as we go through life.
p.s. I could also give up alcohol but not coffee. Caffeine is more addictive! But it's not killing us, so give yourself a break....make that a coffee break. :)
I keep telling myself it's not killing me but my stomach disagrees:( And yet I still keep drinking it...
And YES, it's fascinating how our interests change throughout life! It's so fun to watch midlife women really get in to the people and experiences that make them feel good in the world.
I've always loved following along with your work and journey. I can't wait to see what this next piece brings! Also, I'm obsessed with the PCT. I was able to get on a bit of the trail last year during a trip to some national parks and I couldn't stop thinking about all the hikers.
Thank you Samantha! I was obsessed with the PCT too! How exciting that you were able to hike a bit of the trail! I had a great time living vicariously through my friend, I'm not sure it's anything I'll ever do but it sure sounds like the adventure of a lifetime:)
This is your first post that I read and something tells me you are a beautiful person. I'm glad I am here. Looking forward to more, especially those interviews.

Sounds fantastic — and I am here for it all! xx

Absolutely!! I hope that I am bringing them to light in my substack and through my writing as well. As they say, "We rise by lifting others."
A rising tide lifts all boats😘
